TRANSITION TRAINING - DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Called Transition Points, this series provides concurrent workshops for family and/or caregivers and the transitioning youth with developmental disability. The youth learn about important independent skills and resources and the family members/caregivers learn about critical resources and processes to access those resources.

Organization Description: The Arc of Northern Virginia provides grassroots advocacy, Special Needs Trusts, information and referral, workshops and webinars, tech-based tools, events, and direct services for families, children, and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and loved ones. The Special Needs Trust is licensed to operate in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
